Maria Rosner
Maria discovered yoga 10 years ago as a fitness instructor and athlete. What started out as a way to counteract tight hamstrings and alleviate stress soon became a life-changing practice, and Maria completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2003. She has studied various styles of yoga, including Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, and Yin, and her teaching is a blend of these styles combined with a deep appreciation of human anatomy. Maria infuses her teaching with passion, creativity, and a sense of play, creating a safe space for anyone to practice, regardless of age, experience, or physical limitation. Maria encourages her students to honor themselves right where they are, to practice with awareness, and to celebrate their unique expression of yoga asana. She has just completed her Level 2 teacher training at Yogaview and is grateful to have the opportunity to teach yoga in Chicago, as well as her second home in Michigan. |  |
