Jolynn Houlihan
Yoga has transformed my life, and I teach because it means everything in the world to me to share the gifts of this practice with others. My intention is to create a physically and emotionally safe space where each student has an opportunity to draw what he or she needs from yoga in that moment, whether that is to build strength and flexibility, to release toxins and tension allowing for a fuller experience of life, or to heal emotional wounds and limited beliefs allowing for movement into a more connected relationship with Spirit. My teaching is informed by my continual study with teachers of various traditions, by my dedicated daily practice, and by my commitment to my internal exploration and growth. I have completed the Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training as well as the Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training. I am the mother of two girls and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Jewish Child and Family Services, where I also teach yoga.
